Thoroughly family-oriented, Leila is careful to find the right balance between her work and personal life. Quality family time is important to her and she always encourages this time to listen and connect. Leila is heavily involved in her community, being a part of the Life Education trust along with various Barfoot & Thompson charity events.
Leila is extremely proud of the results she has worked hard to achieve and believes that these results are only delivered through these qualities, disciplines and a strong desire to achieve.

David MacDonald
With a background in engineering and property development, David MacDonald had a great base from which to launch a real estate career in the Onehunga office in May 1995. David brings with him a suite of organisational management skills and techniques that he has successfully applied and developed for his Real Estate career that now spans 16 years.
In Real Estate, David has become renowned for his genuine, straight up approach. Starting at the Barfoot and Thompson Onehunga office, he moved to Remuera in 2006, working on both his own listings and with Leila. Following in the family traditions, his strong commitment and work ethic has earned him considerable success, repeat business and referrals in his Real Estate activities.
A great negotiator and problem solver, David believes that paramount to the success of any transaction are three key ingredients: Integrity, trust and honesty. David has a reputation of going the extra mile in order to deliver even the most difficult deals. His down to earth approach is also well regarded and you will often see David lending a helping hand to his clients with the hard physical tasks of preparing their properties for market.
